USA’s award nominated, critically acclaimed and top rated original drama series, SUITS, returns for the highly-anticipated conclusion of its sophomore season on Thursday, January 17 at 10/9c with six new episodes. The series stars SAG Award nominated Patrick J. Adams ("Luck"), Gabriel Macht ("Love and Other Drugs"), Gina Torres ("Firefly”), Rick Hoffman ("Samantha Who"), Meghan Markle ("CSI Miami"), and Sarah Rafferty (“Brothers & Sisters”).
This summer, the sophomore series – part of the most powerful night on television, which delivered more adults 25-54, 18-49 and 18-34 than any scripted series on cable or broadcast this summer - hit a season ratings high across all demos with its summer finale delivering 6.5 million total viewers. The series was recently picked up for a third season.
SUITS stars Gabriel Macht as legendary law partner Harvey Specter, who takes a gamble on hiring Mike Ross, played by SAG Award nominee Patrick J. Adams. A brilliant associate with a photographic memory, Mike is missing just one thing – a law degree. Bonded by this secret, the irrepressible duo navigates the fast-paced, high-stakes world of Manhattan corporate law and does whatever it takes to remain undefeated. As the summer season finale concluded, Harvey and Mike were able to make their toughest close yet –Harvey’s arch rival, Louis Litt (Hoffman) – whose vote put Jessica (Torres) back on top. After having lost her job to protect him, Harvey’s no-nonsense assistant Donna Paulsen (Rafferty) is reinstated in her rightful place outside of his office. Mike, still reeling from the devastating loss of his grandmother, makes an emotional decision with a girl from his past that puts his relationship with the firm’s savviest paralegal Rachel Zane (Markle) in jeopardy. Guest stars this season include Aarti Mann (“The Big Bang Theory”), Amanda Schull (“Center Stage”), Elisabeth Howser (“I Just Want My Pants Back”), Adam Godley (“Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”) and Diane Neal (“Law & Order: SVU”).
From Universal Cable Productions, SUITS was created and is executive produced by Aaron Korsh ("The Deep End"). Doug Liman (COVERT AFFAIRS, the "Bourne" trilogy, "Mr. and Mrs. Smith") and David Bartis (COVERT AFFAIRS, "The O.C.") of Hypnotic also serve as executive producers and Gene Klein (COVERT AFFAIRS) and Kevin Bray (“Walking Tall”) serves as co-executive producers.
