TNT’s “Hide” Mystery Movie Advance Photos, Cast Portraits & Overview

TNT Press Release

Cold Case Heats Up in TNT’s Hide, Suspenseful Thriller Starring Carla Gugino, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Kevin Alejandro and Bridget Regan

The gruesome discovery of six women buried long ago on the grounds of a mental hospital exposes a family’s skeletons in Hide, a gripping new crime thriller starring Carla Gugino, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Kevin Alejandro and Bridget Regan. Based on the novel by Lisa Gardner, the suspenseful tale will premiere Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 9 p.m. (ET/PT). It is the latest installment in the TNT Mystery Movie Night, a showcase of great contemporary crime dramas based on best-selling books.

Hide stars Carla Gugino (Californication, Entourage) as Boston Police Detective D.D. Warren, who is called to the grounds of an abandoned mental hospital where a buried chamber is discovered. Inside are the mummified remains of six young women who have all been missing for years. The case leads D.D. to Annabelle, played by Bridget Regan (Legend of the Seeker). Annabelle is a young woman who spent her childhood moving from city to city, from identity to identity, hiding from someone or something totally unknown to her. D.D. uses clues from Annabelle’s secret past to unravel the mystery behind her twisted family history. Mark-Paul Gosselaar (TNT’s Franklin & Bash, NYPD Blue) plays Alex Wilson, and Kevin Alejandro (True Blood, TNT’s Southland) is Det. Bobby Dodge.

Hide is written by Janet Brownell (Eloise at the Plaza), directed by John Gray (Ghost Whisperer, Helter Skelter) and executive-produced by Stephanie Germain (The Day After Tomorrow).

The TNT Mystery Movie Night collection is set to continue Wednesday, Dec. 7, with Silent Witness, based on the book by Richard North Patterson and starring Dermot Mulroney, Michael Cudlitz, Anne Heche and Judd Hirsch, and Tuesday, Dec. 13, with Good Morning, Killer, based on the book by April Smith and starring Catherine Bell, Cole Hauser, William Devane, Titus Welliver and Suleka Mathew. Closing out the showcase’s winter lineup on Tuesday, Dec. 20, Kathy Najimy, Scottie Thompson and Jane Alexander will star in Deck the Halls, based on the book by Mary Higgins Clark and Carol Higgins Clark and the first in their series of holiday mysteries.
